Animal and Plant Cells
Alex: The animal cell is a typical type of eukaryotic cell and is enclosed by plasma membrane. It contains a nucleus bound membrane and organelles. They dont have cell walls. The animal cell ranges in size with aid of a microscope between 1 and 100. Its has sever membrane bound organelles and the nucleus detects activities of the cell. The ribosomes make the protien, mitochondria make energy, golgi bodies pack the protiens and distribute them, lysosomes store enzymes, and the membrane lets materials in and out.
Leslie: Plant cell is a different type of an animal cell, but has many comparisons. Plant cells grows from the process of photosynthesis. The plant cells' size is between 1-100 micrometers. The plant cell contains organelles such as: cell membrane, nucleus, mitochondria, smooth/rough endoplasmic reticulum, chloroplasts, etc. Both plant and animal cells hve the same type of functions, but they are very different.
